The 'buy me a coffee' facility seems to work well for a lot of bloggers.

In a world full of twaddle reading your essays gives me a great deal of inspiration and pause for reflection.

Thank you so much for putting the time in.

I would suggest to also include flexibility as in let people pay per article, a nominal sum of 1 dollar, pound, euro, etc.

WHO is encouraging you to provide a paid version? Don't you like poor people that have no income due to the NWO?

I had been reading your Substack already when you changed your handle at Naked Capitalism recently. Quite a surprise! Your comments there are always worth reading and often full of excellent analysis.

I'm really glad you decided to start this blog as it gives you more space to write the longer form pieces that you do so well. Thank you.

If and when you start a subscription service, I will gladly join it.

Thank you for keeping your content freely available. It is one of several Substacks that I would like contribute to, if I were in a position to do so. At present it takes me about a week to digest your posts - I intend that as a compliment.

I am not sure what Substack thinks it will achieve with Notes, given that the platform's strength lies in attracting and playing host to thoughtful long-form essayists, like yourself, seasoned with the ubiquitous digital leaf litter of brand managers and life coaches.

A lot of people on Notes seem to be on the rebound from Twitter, which is in a transitional phase from the era of Jack Dorsey - for want of a better description, a weak king, who was nominally in charge of the company but who seemed to have no idea what his underlings were getting up to. I think anyone on the run from Musk would be better served by setting up camp in whatever corner of the Fediverse panders to their outlook on life.
